Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The ADCC Trip Giveaway ("Sweepstakes") begins 10am on August 8, 2003 and ends at 10pm on October 31st, 2004 ("Sweepstakes Period"). Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States who are pre-registered to compete in The 2004 Grapplers Quest North American Championships (September 25th) in New Jersey or Grapplers Quest West 6 in Las Vegas (November 6th) and 18 years of age of older. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in the same household, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Online, e-mail and mail entries must be received by 10 pm on September 17th for GQ-NJ and 10pm on October 31st, 2004 for the GQ-Vegas trip giveaways. Only one entry per person or e-mail address is permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person or e-mail address that submits multiple entries. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. All entries will be submitted for both drawings.
Grand Prizes: The Two Grand Prize winners (one for EACH event) will win (2) 2-Day VIP Passes ($200 value), (1) Roundtrip airfare (up to $200 value), plus 2 nights at the Main Event Hotel ($200 value) where ALL of the World's Elite Grapplers and MMA Fighters will be staying! Trip must be booked 21 days in advance of the ADCC event. Airline Tickets valid only on Orbitz' choice of airlines, JetBlue.com, Southwest Airlines, or another discount airline. Airline Ticket booking is subject to availability. Orbitz' choice of airlines may necessitate connecting flights. Airline Ticket must be booked with a minimum of 21 days advance purchase. Tickets issued are non-refundable in cash, non-endorseable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. Once tickets have been issued, they shall not be re-sold, endorsed, exchanged, transferred or in any other manner modified by winner. Once tickets are issued, they cannot be changed. Individual passengers shall be responsible for payment of excess baggage charges, upgrades and any other charges incurred after issuance of tickets. The bearer of this free trip voucher is responsible for any difference in price due to reserving any higher priced package including airfare, hotel, or fees applied as a result of a change in the reservation, and is responsible for all government departure taxes and optional travel insurance. Selection of Winner: Winner will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries that are received. Winner will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone within 10 days of the drawing. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner or for the winners late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to claim the prize.
By claiming any prize, winner agrees that the prize is awarded under the condition that The Grapplers Company, Inc. and TapouT and their respective sponsors, affiliates, agencies or employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. Each winner agrees to the use of his/her name, voice and/or likeness, and image for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim a prize, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
General Terms and Conditions: By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. Sponsor, agents and representatives of Sponsor, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or postage-due entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel Sweepstakes at any time if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, representatives of Sponsor, advertisers, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
